God is moving here in East Asia
RYAN
I experienced a lot this past week! I tried some new food at Muslim Street, rode on the metro, and took the longest escalator in Asia in a GIGANTIC mall!
My time here is going to be memorable. Father has given us opportunities to share truth and our testimonies with our friends.
Joshua’s friend Oliver committed his life to J!!! Join us in praising G! Yarp that Oliver would be a faithful, available, and a teachable follower of G. And yarp that long term brothers at university will encourage him and teach him how to live out being a follower of J. I spent a short amount of time with my friend Kevin and was able to share a little about Father. Kevin does not believe in anything. Communication with Kevin has been spotty. Please yarp that we will have time together before the semester ends. I mentioned that I shared with my friend Phil. Keep yarping for him, he has not made a commitment to follow. Nearly everyday we yarp walk around campus. Every day I ask Him for more laborers and that He will raise up influencers to reach others with the good news through multiplication. I know he can do it!

– I sprained my wrist and this past week my stomach has been having a lot of discomfort. Yarp that I would rely on G for strength
– It is that time of the semester where students have finals. Yarp for availability of students to meet up.
– Yarp that I would continue to be patient with Father’s timing and with the language barrier.
Shoutouts
Dad – Happy Father’s Dad! I am very thankful for you raising me and appreciate your love for me.
Aryanna – Hello?! I found it:) Thank you for your encouraging notes. They have been pointing me to truth. I am yarping for you and your responsibilities in CP, INO, and the internship.
Paul – I miss our meetings at the Beat! Father has been revealing a lot while at University. It is a pleasure being here with AW and JW. They are rad!

Okay, hold the phone…we’ve been here for three weeks already?!?! Like what?!?! That’s crazy. This past week has gone by so fast but it was so so so great! We were a little worried at the beginning if we’d be able to get time with students due to them having to prepare for finals but Father blessed us with a pretty packed week. I was able to get time with my friends Zhao Yitong and Irene who I met last week while getting lunch. Both of them said they’re atheist but Irene has read the good book before and was enthusiastic when she talked about it. Please lift up that I’ll be able to get one on one time with each of them and that Father would open doors for me to share the full G. Chinese class has been awesome and we’re getting to learn the song 10,000 Reasons in Chinese! We had our last morning English class and Global Club meeting cries in English and even though we only attended for a few weeks so many friendships were made!! Please ask Father for perseverance in this coming week when trying to get time with students. Thank you all so much for lifting us up! Praise Father for all the work he’s been doing!🙌🏻🎉

– For my friends Irene, Zhao Yitong, Zilda, Kathryn, Chulinjun, Kumengxin, and Melody…that I would be able to get one on one time with them.
– For my old friends Jocelyn and Annie…that I would also be able to schedule time with them and encourage them because they have begun to drift in their walk.
– That I would maintain an upbeat/can-do attitude and not lose momentum now that we’ve hit the halfway mark in our trip.
– For boldness in starting conversations…that I would not be hesitant! (2 Tim 1:7 and 2 Cor 3:12).

Dear friends and family. I have now finished up my 3rd week in EA. This past week I had the incredible opportunity to share the good news with many of my friends. One dear friend to me, Oliver, who I have told you about before, decided to join the join the family and become a brother! 😁 I am taking steps to help him grow and am thanking Father for his goodness in giving me this opportunity and for Oliver coming to know the truth! I find myself overcome with joy and having a strong desire to share more. Please yarp for him and for my friends, Froome, Zero, Star, Kevin, and Joshua, who all have heard a some of the truth. Father is at work, all we must do is join Him wherever we are and faithfully obey. More to come because were not done yet🤠🌏 Also! Happy Father’s Day to my Dad. I would not be the man I am today or where I am currently without your courageous example. Love you Dad!👨👦

Hello family and friends! Our 3rd week in East Asia is over.😱 This trip has been going by so fast! But our work is not done here and I believe Father is going to really work through us in these last weeks. Scheduling time will be difficult because the students will be studying for their finals next week and then immediately heading home. However, Father can do anything so please be lifting up our friends’ availabilities. This week I got to hang out with my friends Estelle and Cloris. I met them during a school event called English corner a little over a week ago and was able to get lunch with them. They opened up to me about their values, their desires, and where they were in terms of beliefs. They don’t have a belief, but they had heard of JC from an English teacher. They’ve even heard the Easter story before. Time was short so I wasn’t able to ask more, but I’m hoping on having dinner with them next week. Also, Friday was our last Global Club meeting.😢 However, even though it was the last night, I was able to make more new friends! It’s so cool Father still gives us opportunities to meet new people even when the weeks are winding down. Their names are WeiWei and Liu Duo. They were both so sweet and I’m planning on having dinner with them on Monday!

This past week has been a mix of highs and lows. Some days have been filled with surprises and others have been filled with tiredness. Father has proven faithful though throughout the many stories we have to share of our time with friends. This week I was able to share a bit of my story with my friend Jenny. He opened up about certain things and Father reminded me that we carry hope that we can share with people. I have also continued to spend time with Tony and am hoping to share a bit more next time we grab some food together. Due to exams and projects it has been a bit harder getting time with some friends so please ask Father to continue providing them with free time. This week I also had lunch with Victor who identified as Muslim. Please ask Father to guide our conversations so that I may began to share with him in a way that is clear.
PR
– That Father will be working in Jenny’s heart and that I will be able to share the good news with him soon.
– That I will be able to get another meal with Tony as soon as possible.
– That I will be bold and courageous in all my conversations.
– That sleepiness and tiredness won’t hinder the work I am doing here.
