Discipline__tired_of_time_outGod the Creator, Savior and Sustainer of His children understands each one of us better than we can possibly understand ourselves and or others.

God understands our emotions, our minds, and our motives which lead to our actions.

God’s discipline is an act of love

“Whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives.” Hebrews 12:6 NKJV

We must view this loving action of God as an act to bring us to spiritual maturity.  This is not an act of rejection or condemnation.

“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me flee from the law of sin and death”  Romans 8:1,2  NKJV

When we are disciplined; being taught by God we should embrace the act. We should not be discouraged but accept it as God’s sign of love to us.  A sign that he cares for us and wants us to grow in His grace

Thank God He only dishes out what we can bare.

James says, “My brethen, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing . . .  James 1:2-8 NKJV.

As we develop through the Grace of God, “We are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus”, and He will do what is necessary to present us faultless to the Holy Trinity at the last day.

Thank you God for loving us, Your family, so much that You lovingly care for us enough to remove our warts and then carry us to glory in your everlasting arms.

Have a blessed week.
