The President urges the nation to turn to God in prayer.

It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer. We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these…. “— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) March 13, 2020

“No matter where you may be, I encourage you to turn towards prayer in an act of faith. Together, we will easily prevail!”

We add our voices and prayers as we join the call to prayer. We remain confident that God is in control, for He knows the road ahead and He longs for His people to call on Him in prayer. No matter what we are facing be it the threat of virus, job loss, market fluctuations, or difficulty finding basic necessities at the grocery store, God hears our prayers.

“And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.” – 1 John 5:14-15

As the Lord leads pray with us . . .

  • For God to be at work in and through the president as during this critical time.
  • For protection and health for the president and all who are in leadership roles.
  • For strength and encouragement for the medical professionals working tirelessly to care for the ill.
  • For healing for all who are infected
  • For those who are at risk to be able to find adequate food and supplies.

I hope every church, regardless of denomination, and every individual, regardless of political affiliation, will pray and seek the Lord as our nation faces this crisis.

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

Will you join us in praying tomorrow? We encourage you to contact your family, your friends, church members you know, and ask them to be in prayer as well.
